Summary
This short promotional video markets a music-based social media platform themed around the vintage turntable of vinyl records and disco music. The play on nostalgia is meant to act as a draw towards the community on the app, which is a primary marketing strategy of the brand. This entire sequence was also a personal challenge for me as an artist who wanted to create the entire project natively within Adobe After Effects.
Development
Many of the planned elements from the original storyboard made it into the final sequence, however certain features were ultimately scrapped due to being considered distracting from the original purpose of the platform, that is music.
