Summary
This short series of transitional location cards was themed around the aesthetics of vintage postcards, which were known for their bright colors and heavy textures. The concept of postcards are a lot like the sight through an old keyhole, a removed glimpse into a place, so utilizing keyhole imagery through a strong presence of shape and color helped develop the visual style for this sequence.
Iterations
As well as create the standard screen size version, iterations of the location cards were also developed in various formats, to make the branding cohesive for a variety of platforms on which it may exist. An alternative color style that only used sepia tones was also explored to lean into the idea of vintage photographs instead, which also served as an alternative to postcards.
