Summary
The idea behind this project was to create a textable sticker set based on road signage. Taking inspiration from strong architectural nature of public infrastructure and youthful humor, this set was developed using both 3D and 2D animation blended together, and then applied into a use case scenario. This project helped me refine my skills in texture development for 3D modeling, and allowed me to experiment with point tracking in Adobe AfterEffects.
Development
The above concept art served as the initial ideation for this project, fleshing out a wide variety of signage merged with puns, lyrics, and catchphrases, which could be utilized as reaction images. A particular source of inspiration is the widely known meme that originated from Vine creator Drew Gooden, which you can see for yourself here.
