Summary
This branding package was commissioned to be a marketing tool and a branding package to promote a Microsoft Excel add-on that would enable additional levels of security to user spreadsheets. In order to communicate the large variety of tools this add-on delivers, each segment of this project featured strong language and motifs while incorporating Excel's iconic aesthetics.

Due to the nature of the add-on, it was important to the client to feature a similar visual aesthetic to Microsoft Excel, while also incorporating motifs from critical features for the add-on, such as obfuscation, security, and productivity elements. Many iterations of the branding's core designs featured the typical cell functions of Excel, as well as different opacity layers, padlocks, and checkmarks, to give customers a sense of reliability and safety.
Outside of the promotional materials, early concepts for training modules were also developed.
